WHAT IS A KEY WORKER

Kaleidoscope Key Workers are specialist allied health professionals or early childhood educators, who have expertise and experience in early childhood development and disability.

Key workers work in partnership with families, using family centred practice principles. The Key Worker is part of our supportive Kaleidoscope team, and assists the family and child to address their goals within their own environment. i.e. Home, childcare, kinder, school.

The Key worker is in contact with our therapists to ensure that everyone is working as a team towards goals. 

· A Key Worker focus’ on the strengths of your child and family and

• helps      you prioritise goals
• implement      strategies to assist in meeting your child’s goals
• add      therapy techniques into your daily routines
• build      your skills to best support your child
• be      responsive to your family needs
• collaborate      with other therapists and professionals within and outside Kaleidoscope      Therapy
• Information is provided in a way that builds up your confidence in      making decisions and engaging in early years and community programs.

Requirements: A child needs to be engaged with one or more Kaleidoscope Therapists to access our Key Workers.
