Paediatric Physiotherapy
Helping little bodies do big things

Our physiotherapist helps children grow strong
Our paediatric physiotherapist helps children gain physical strength to move freely and tackle daily adventures without restrictions. By working closely with your family and collaborating with other allied health professionals, we provide holistic health care that empowers your child to participate fully in the moments that matter most.
What does a physiotherapist do?
Our paediatric physiotherapist addresses delayed milestones, muscle tone concerns, and movement disorders. Our care plans may combine musculoskeletal techniques, massage and mobilisation exercises to improve movement, build strength, and support your child’s growth.
Delays in Gross Motor Milestones
Is tummy time a struggle? Or maybe rolling, sitting, or walking feels a bit tricky? Paediatric physiotherapy gently supports your child in building strength and reaching milestones at their own pace.
Floppy or Stiff Muscles
Muscle tone concerns are more common than you might think. Our physiotherapist gently assists your child in building their strength, improving flexibility, and gaining better control of their movements.
Chromosome Abnormalities
We work with children with genetic conditions like Down Syndrome to develop their muscles, improve their range of movement, and collaborate with other therapies to support their ability to move freely.
Movement Disorders
We assess babies for normal movement patterns and identify risks of conditions like Cerebral Palsy. We guide parents on positioning from birth to support gross motor skill development and mobility.
Prematurity
Being born early can bring extra challenges for motor development. Our children’s physio gently helps your child catch up, build strength, and develop the skills they need to move quickly.
Coordination Concerns
Does your child have trouble walking steadily or seem uncoordinated? We assess and address gait and coordination challenges, helping them develop smoother, more stable movement as they grow.
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
Recovering from surgery can be challenging for children. We provide gentle, personalised rehabilitation to help your child rebuild strength, restore movement, and return to their daily activities safely and effectively.
Sports Injuries
Active kids sometimes need a little extra help bouncing back from an injury. Our children’s physiotherapist will support your child in recovering safely and getting back to doing what they love most.
