Before starting a private practice Joanne worked in Paediatrics in a local Community Health setting which laid the foundation for the collaborative/transdisciplinary approach we are embracing at Kaleidoscope Therapy.
Joanne enjoys working across all age ranges and is enjoying the opportunity of working collaboratively with Speech Pathology colleagues with the younger cohorts of children.

Being able to start Kaleidoscope Therapy with friend and colleague Nikki Bond has been one of the most exciting steps Joanne has taken in her career and she continues to be driven by the exciting opportunities this has provided to support children and families in the Macedon Ranges.

Nikki graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 1999 with a degree in Speech Pathology. Since graduation Nikki has worked extensively across both the adult and paediatric fields, in pubic and private hospitals, and community health settings.

Nikki graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 1999 with a degree in Speech Pathology. Since graduation Nikki has worked extensively across both the adult and paediatric fields, in pubic and private hospitals, and community health settings.
Before starting in private practice, Nikki worked in Early Childhood Intervention Services (ECIS) working within the evidenced based Key Worker model. This transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary model, is what motivated Nikki and Joanne to collaborate and start Kaleidoscope Therapy. It allowed families to have a cohesive and child and family centred service, all at the same clinic.
Nikki enjoys working with pre-school children, particularly in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems. Nikki has completed training in Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display (PODD) books and in varied communication devices. Nikki uses a holistic approach to working with children, which is child led and play- based. Working with families in embedding communication strategies into their everyday routines is an area that Nikki is very passionate about.
Nikki is excited about what future opportunities Kaleidoscope Therapy will continue to offer families of the Macedon Ranges.

Sara has clinical experience working with children with a diverse range of conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disabilities, Selective Mutism, speech sound disorders and language delays.
Sara is passionate about providing fun, child-led therapy to her clients. She enjoys supporting children and their families on their communication journeys and strives to deliver a neurodiversity affirming and strengths-based approach with all clients.
She is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP), a member of Speech Pathology Australia and is trained in Orofacial Myology.

Lily graduated with Master’s degree from Swinburne University in 2022. Before commencing her OT degree, Lily discovered her love of and interest in working with children as well as the benefits of occupational therapy while interning at a paediatric Occupational Therapy clinic in New York City. During her time there, she worked on 3 summer camps over the years, supporting a diverse group of pre-school children and received mentorship from the team of therapists. Lily also spent time living in Cambodia and working with an NGO as a teacher in the primary school for at risk Cambodian children.
Lily enjoy's working with children from a broad age range and with different goals. She especially loves working on anything involving gross motor. Lily looks forward to the opportunity to continue working with a diverse group of children using a playful attitude to engage children in a fun and positive way.

Beck has joined Kaleidoscope with experience in a wide variety of children’s conditions. She has been working with babies, children and their families for 20 years in hospital and community settings including Early Childhood Intervention and NDIS. Beck enjoys seeing children and their families have fun whilst working on their gross motor skill goals.
Key Worker/Occupational Therapist
Cathy works with Kaleidoscope Therapy in a role as key worker which involves supporting families in functional environments such as in the home and school/kindergarten.

Heather has been working in an administrative support role with Jo and Nikki since 2018 and enjoyed the client and family interactions with those attending the clinic.

Marcia brings her extensive experience and amazing ideas to our early kindergarten groups which has been a wonderful addition to the services we can offer. We are delighted to have Marcia as part of our team at Kaleidoscope working collaboratively to assist children to reach their potential.

Kate brings extensive experience and a broad range of skills to her role with us at Kaleidoscope Therapy.
Kate has completed her qualifications as an Allied Health Assistant and brings a positive and friendly attitude to everything she does.

Anne is a registered psychologist with a warm and collaborative approach to therapy. She has recently moved from Sydney to the Macedon Ranges and has over 20 years experience as a counsellor.

Anne is a registered psychologist with a warm and collaborative approach to therapy. She has recently moved from Sydney to the Macedon Ranges and has over 20 years experience as a counsellor.
Anne graduated from Sydney University with a Masters in Psychology. After completing a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary), she was a high school teacher for 5 years before returning to her studies to become a registered psychologist. Prior to working in schools for the last 15 years, Anne worked as a military psychologist in the Australian Army.
Anne enjoys working with young people across a range of presenting issues, including stress, anxiety, low mood, self-esteem and building healthy relationships. Anne has a strong interest in ADHD. She is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi) and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Anne seeks to provide an empathetic and non-judgemental space for her clients. She is excited to be working with the team at Kaleidoscope and is available for appointments on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Suzie joins the team with experience in Mental Health and recently in a Specialist Education Setting.
Suzie brings a collaborative approach to working with children and enjoys supporting them to develop independence at each life stage.

Alex is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. She earned her Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University in 2021.
Before joining Kaleidoscope, Alex gained valuable experience working with school-aged children in educational settings, focusing on oral language development. She also worked with adults in a public hospital outpatient clinic, where she treated swallowing, voice, and upper respiratory issues. Prior to her career as a speech pathologist, Alex worked in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry.
Alex is dedicated to working closely with families, adopting a holistic approach to help them achieve their goals. She has a particular interest in stuttering, oral language (both early and school-aged), speech sound disorders, and literacy. Alex is trained in the Lidcombe Program for fluency (stuttering) treatment and Word Aware for vocabulary intervention. Additionally, she has completed the Science of Language and Reading (SOLAR) introduction course at La Trobe
